Action Medical Research

Helping to prevent and treat disease in children

London To Paris

For over 60 years Action Medical Research has been funding research to help prevent and treat disease and disability in babies and children.

From causes to treatment, the charity has had countless breakthroughs that include developing the use of ultrasound scanning in pregnancy, creating the award-winning matrix seat to support disabled children as they grow, and pioneering the foetal heart rate monitor.

As a core part of their fundraising, Action Medical Research organise and run a large selection of well-known cycling events, including the iconic London to Paris challenge, the Ride100 series of 100-mile sportives across the UK, and the women’s only DIVA events, which are championed by Davina McCall.
