As Play Sport Group’s Strategy Director, Nick is part of the SHIFT management team with a laser focus on strategic output across the agency, as well as leading strategic initiatives on major clients and new business.
Nick’s insight and ability are borne from a number of high-level agency roles, and with SHIFT he is now able to marry his professional expertise with his love of cycling.
His extensive experience in planning within numerous agencies ranges from helping grow a customer engagement agency from a small independent to the first UK agency outside of London to win the DMA Grand Prix, to being responsible for the connections strategy of two of the largest FMCG baby brands in the UK, devising robust digital ecosystems and CRM programmes with superb results.
On two wheels, Nick splits his time evenly between road and off-road. He’s dabbled in off-road endurance events including a ‘decent time’ in a Scottish Coast-2-Coast. For now, with two young children, he’s more focused on enjoying the trails and lanes around his Gloucestershire home than pushing for any podiums.
