SHIFT Active Media are looking for a full-time Production Coordinator to join the team in their Bath office to work across a range of in-house and external productions. The role would be ideal for someone with a positive can-do attitude, who’s great at multitasking, embraces learning new skills, self-motivated and interested in furthering their career in production.

The day to day role will be a 60:40 split between supporting the Producer and managing your own smaller social-media focused projects. Supporting the Producer will consist of practical production tasks - from shoot prep, logistics and attendance through to budgeting, creative development and pitching on new work. Managing your own social media focused projects will be an opportunity to run your own smaller productions, with the support of the Producer and wider team. An example of this could be anything from supporting our PR team with arranging small interview shoots, to managing re-edits of existing content and showreels.

Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities

These will include (but not limited to):

  • Assist Producers with day-to-day production activities and paperwork
  • Keeping all production documents and databases up to date
  • Creating production schedules and call sheets under the direction of the producer
  • Assisting producers with budgeting
  • Attending and assisting on shoots where required
  • Managing smaller social media focused jobs such as interviews, photoshoots and re-edits
  • Booking kit, travel & accommodation
  • Researching and optioning crew, studios and locations
  • Creating fact sheets after completion of jobs
  • Compose and draft production decks, including for wardrobe/casting/locations etc
  • Supporting freelance staff; including drive preparation and delivery for editors
  • Local drive and cloud archive management
  • Management of SHIFT YouTube and production Google Drive
  • General agency admin including filing and organisation
  • Measuring and calculating each jobs carbon footprint in line with AdGreen policies

Required Experience / Skills

  • 1-3 years of production experience, ideally in a similar role
  • In-depth knowledge of the production process from brief to delivery
  • Demonstrated experience in content creation for social media
  • Existing network of social focused filmmakers/content creators/crew
  • Experience working with a range of clients, brands and crew
  • Strong interest in cycling, film, photography + culture
  • Good working knowledge of Google Suite (Sheets, Docs and Slides)
